marte haiN aarzoo meiN marne ki
maut aatee hai par naheeN aatee

kaaba'a kis muNh se jaaoge 'GHalib'
sharm tumko magar naheeN aatee
koi umeed bhar nahi aati
koi surat nazar nahi aati

maut ka din muayaan hai
neend kyon raat bhar nahi aati

aage aati thi haal-e-dil pe hansi
ab kisi baat par nahi aati

hai kuch aisi hi baat ki chup hun
warna kyaa baat karni nahi aati

hum wahan hai janha se hamko bhi
kuch hamari khabar nahi aati

Some of the verses i found online. Right now i am at office, so probably will dwell on them later.

So how fucked up are you??

Saw the movie " Departed" second time last night. That movie is just great. The dialogues, the acting , the plot; everything is great. Anyway, the title was one of the dialogues in the movie but i hardly remembered it after seeing the movie.
But then i went to Stanford GSB information session. When i came there , saw just a couple of people sitting there. Just when i entered I saw a nice girl (who looked like Russian) . I smiled and she smiled back. I took a seat just behind her in hope of something happening. Just then our host entered and session started. If I had any hopes of impressing the Adcom staff, it vanished as quickly as dew vanishes after sunrise (I am fond of Siddhuisms).
I could not ask even a single question while the host was bombarded with questions right, left and centre. Just then, suddenly, this dialogue came to my mind and as ,eventually, i left the session I could think of nothing else. It seemed the answer to this dialogue is what Adcom wants. It might sound funny or even stupid, but to me the dialogue seemed like poetry, encapsulating more meaning then suggested by number of words. Needless to say, I am still try to find out, how fucked up I am?

first comment

OK..so finally after long delays and deliberatins i have finally put something on the blog. I was looking to do that for long time but one problem or other just kept delaying that. Today seems to be good day for starting things.
I starting blogging and I also met this geek from Sun who is developing low cost LED light. It was very interesting meeting. We had fixed the meeting place as Starbucks. But we didn't know each other. I didn't had a cell and he didn't gave me his cell's number. When i went there i waasn't sure of how to recognize him.So i thought, what the heck, lets order a coffee and wait for some time. Anyway there were some nice chicks there. But just as i got my coffee,a guy enters.
He looks a bit confused. First he looks at me, then to everywhere else. Then again at me and at same time we realize that we are looking for each other. So we get a seat and then we had good discussion. He is a good guy and lets see how thing unfold.
